so... the plan to rescue falin is the closest thing this series will come to actual cannibalism... you know what I'm not even surprised.

I've finally surpassed the content that's been animated thus far, and I'm having a lot of fun! I've always liked kabru as a character (was he rather slimy? yes, but I found him interesting nonetheless, especially as a foil to laios), but he really grew on me during this volume specifically. and, so far, I really like captain mithrun and I can't wait to see more of him.

that being said, the character building in this series is great, and the way kui fleshed out chilchuck's backstory is no exception. apart from that, I laughed a lot and I'm excited (but also deeply terrified) to see how things unfold in upcoming volumes.

Lots of good plot development here! Much less funny volume, until the last chapter

Body-swapping is always fun. Loved the Chilchuck lore. Marcille’s determination to get to know Chil is so funny and cute.
