Satisfying ending to Verena and Dacre

Better than book 2, not as good as book 1, but I love the initial meeting and story of them falling for each other. If you’re reading for the romance, the book does not disappoint. Dacre is devoted to Verena and doesn’t waiver. He will burn the world for her. Their blind trust in each other is unbreakable.

We learn about more of their backstory in this conclusion to the series. Plot wise, I was left wishing we had leaned more of Veyrith and the vessels - which confused me. I also wish we learned more about her father and what made him so power hungry.

3.5⭐️ Really enjoyed this series! Hot, fun and quick to read. I liked the way this book wrapped the story up. Buuuuut I devoured the first book and I feel like the second and third did not hit the same! Just needed more honestly

With its lush world-building, complex characters, and heart-pounding adventures, this trilogy has evolved into something truly remarkable, and the last book doesn’t just meet expectations—it exceeds them.

From the opening chapters, the stakes are higher than ever. The protagonists, having grown and changed throughout the series, are now facing their greatest challenges yet. The author masterfully ties up loose ends while also presenting new twists and revelations that keep readers on the edge of their seats. Every choice made by the characters feels earned and significant, and it’s clear that the journey has been one of growth, sacrifice, and self-discovery.
