I found this book good enough to pass the time but ultimately unmemorable. I don't think it's a bad book by any means, just not for me. I didn't really connect with the writing style. It could also be related to the cooking elements which don't seem to be a hit for me.

wow a wlw book i actually liked that didn’t include an absurd age gap or end in fire. i loved this book and it didn’t feel like a burden to read. i think it felt a bit corny at times with the placement of some dialogue— being a little dated. but i like it i think both characters were well written.
