I wanted to buy into this book more, but I just found the main relationship uncomfortable both from the insta-love and refusal to communicate. I also felt like the characters just felt more caraciture-esque instead of feeling like real people.

A bit too Insta love for me. For someone who just broke up with her fiancé and wanted to explore her bisexuality she just hops into another long term commitment. Which fine, but I wish we’d have seen her try to date at least.

This was a lovely, easygoing romance. I am usually more of a fan of slowburns, and while this isn't a physical slowburn, it is an emotional one. Amy and Sophie will leave you kicking your feet and shaking your head as you root for them and their restaurant
