I hate being unable to finish a book but the reality is, not every book will be one I can push through and finish. This is one such book for me. I don’t know why but from the first page I didn’t like this book. The tone felt weird, the characters whiny and unlikeable, and there seemed to be no chemistry at all. It felt like the book was trying too hard to be what it ultimately failed to be. I won’t leave a rating on the book because that’s unfair to the author and those who genuinely enjoyed the book. But yeah, this was a no for me.

I wanted to love this one, but it fell a little flat for me. I really don't know why either. I felt neutral toward the MCs, but enjoyed their burgeoning love. Overall, it was an ok read.
