Holy spaceballs, Batman.

You know a book has you in a chokehold when you audibly say “what the fuck” or “oh no…”multiple times during the listen. Don’t even get me started on how often I laughed out loud.

FREAKIN’ ROCKY YOU LITTLE SPIDER ALIEN I LOVE YOU SM. 😭😭😭 Wall-E has always been my favorite Pixar movie, and this audiobook gave me the same happy butterflies Wall-E does. 🥺

This book is wild. It’s brilliant. I’m unloading unlimited plot twists onto my husband like it’s my full-time job. I’m suddenly recalling math equations I haven’t touched since high school physics. My periodic-table-loving self is GIDDY.

And listen - if I start speaking in Iridian, just mind your own. I’m leaving this planet. Rocky is officially Emerson’s new nanny. Colin and I are opening an Iridian brewery/bookstore powered by astrophage. Somehow.

I went in nearly blind - literally only knowing “space” from context clues (aka the cover) - and as a diehard romance reader, let me tell you: DO NOT HESITATE to pick up this audiobook. Hands down, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of gracing my earballs. 🚀 🪐 🕷️ cannot wait to see the movie adaptation!
