I'll admit, when my Librarian recommended this for me I was a bit hesitant since this was out of my usual genre. Though, what can I say? I gave it a try and ended up loving it! It is so creative to give the Arthurian legend a modern twist. It may be lacking but it is worth reading!

When I forst saw the title it reminded me of Disney movie with the same name. I hadn't heard about this before i got it in a blind date with a book. I loved the Disney movie so it got me excited to read the book.

The beginning of the book didn't really catch me, but that happens in a lot of the books i read and I have been in a reading slump so I thought that was what a play here, but it didn't really become better before the last 20 page or so. I did enjoy the ending in the book more than the movie, but that is also one of the only things I liked more. The other thing I liked from the book than the movie was Elaines name, and the reason behind it, it just make more sense in my head than the name they used in the movie.
adventurous lighthearted fast-paced

I was having Merlin withdrawals and this was perfect for that.

this is so good! recommended to any chick lit fan.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a Meg Cabot book, and I bought this book probably near its release. I know some people get into a habit where they get rid of books on their shelves because they haven’t read it in several years and would rather have the space. I wasn’t really in the mood to read this, but I wanted to since I had it on my shelf for so long. I’m glad I kept this. The book definitely increased my want to see the Avalon High movie.

Even though some things are predictable, I thought this was a creative retelling. I was relieved that I can still enjoy a Meg Cabot book. However, there are several instances of cursing, which I’m not a fan of.

An entertaining and clever re-telling of the Arthurian legend through the lens of high school romance. Ends with a twist, and a great deal of excitement!

I read this last year I think and I thought the whole King Arthur thing was really cool and different! I remember it was a quick and easy read and I really liked it.
