“If I am the phantom, it is because man's hatred has made me so. If I am to be saved it is because your love redeems me.”

An easy to read classic literature novel that explores the surprisingly simple intersection between love, redemption, the supernatural, and the obsessive. An interesting read, but nothing to write home about. It was interesting to see the differences between the novel, the movie, and the Broadway adaptation.
