Weird, pretty original, irreverently funny, and way too long. Lots of time skipping and POV shifting, so if that's not your thing, beware. The excessive length comes from how drawn-out the attack is as well as from lots of things that seem only partially related to the main story.

I really really wanted to like this book.  The opening segment caught my interest and I was invested!  Then we proceeded to learn about the events of the regional supernatural office ran by women with super powers.  Which sounds awesome!  But, in reality, I struggled to connect with the characters, as well as follow the story.  The story was told in several different points of view and from several different points in time.  I kept waiting for it to come together, but felt unsatisfied with the end.  I would recommend reading vs audio, maybe that would have been easier to follow!  However, due to the personalities of the characters, it wasn't a good fit for me!
