I was kind of trudging through this series for a while, but this volume was SO much better than the last ones. It has Jessica Cruz reaching full badass potential, the introduction of two great new characters, and perhaps best of all Blackfire ("her maj") and Dex-Star. They are my new favorite duo. Kori was missed, but these issues made me want big sis in more things for the first time ever.

I somehow managed to not get spoiled about what happens to Jessica at the beginning of this book before reading it , so I thought she was dead (which is partially why I am only reading this now).
I don't really know what to say, it's really the part of the story where "they gather their forces after the first arc to really do their bestest in the third one", so it's not the most eventful, but not everything needs to be.

It's really weird to get used to this omega-charged Jessica, especially when she is the only familiar character left. Although I wouldn't call it mis-characterization like I've seen in other reviews. To me, her being fearless and that confident came from the omega charge, but that's my interpretation.

Justice League Odyssey: Final Frontier, is by far the best in the trilogy. Sadly, though, this is not much of a distinction as the series consistently fails to deliver and this final volume is only mediocre.

Throughout the first two books of the series there is little character development and the Jessica Cruz character is generally neglected. This changes somewhat in the final volume. GL Cruz takes center stage and begins to drive the narrative. Unfortunately, it just seems like too little to late. Although, there are some clever plot twists and the addition of new more interesting characters the narrative still seems uneven and disjointed. It is also clear that the overall story is missing elements that must have been covered under a different title. As such, the ending of the book seems incomplete.
