Delightfully spooky! I'm a big fan of Graham Annable's comics, which manage to be sweet, dark and slightly surreal all at once. This book has all of those qualities in spades. The framing story has a teacher encouraging her students to tell eerie stories to the rest of the class. Five students tell five very different stories, with the fifth linking back to the framing story. Each story has a different colour palette making them visually distinct. There's some genuine horror here, but the illustrations are not gory, and the horror is balanced by humour and heart.
