I haven't had time to read the entire book but the ones I have read are wonderful. They are perfect if you are looking for some books to read in one setting. The collection offers a variety in authors and even a few new authors for me. I like discovering new authors in this way and rediscovering some known authors.

I read this anthology over the course of a week or so and as I look back to write this review, I'm finding that a lot of the stories blended together. That's not to say that they're conencted or really similar in any way... it's more that reading 12 stories back to back, so very few of them stood out enough to single them out for review as excellent. That said, there was only one of the stories that I've probably rate as a 2-3 star read and I ended up skimming most of it.

I found this to be a very solid set of regency romances. There was enough variety of characters (from commoners to aristocrats) and locals (from London to the Highlands) to keep me interested. Even the tropes varied from reunion stories to chance meetings to friends to lovers.

I was reminded why I enjoy a few of these authors and have discovered a couple new authors to add to my ever growing to-be-read list. If you're looking for a good selection of short stories set around the Christmas season, this might be the box set for you.

Winter Wishes is a Christmas themed regency romance anthology from various authors, and edited by Cheryl Bolen. As with all anthologies, this was a little bit of a mixed bag, with none of the stories quite making it to five stars, one almost-DNF, and on DNF, my average rating is on the lower side at 3.07. However, it was a good opportunity to test out some of the authors and there were a couple who I would like to read more from. The highlights of this collection for me were: Invitation to Pleasure Must Love Majors, and The Earl from Christmas Past.

I really liked this group of books, even though I haven’t really been in the mood to read, I was still able to read this.

My favorite 2 were One Room at the Inn by Cheryl Boleyn (the whole reason why I wanted to read this collection) and A YULETIDE HIGHLANDER Highland Heather Romancing a Scot #7 by COLLETTE CAMERON.
