As with any collection, some essays were hits, other were misses. Still not a fan of romance stories (really only read this because it was short and I was behind on my reading goal), but I loved some of the stories that were making a larger point about humanity

Although I did not like a couple of the stories, the majority of them were beautiful. I am in awe of how love can be conceptualized in such diverse ways.
Some of the essays were just okay, but some of them were really thought provoking. Overall enjoyable and worth reading again someday.

Touching, vulnerable, and incredibly human - it is hard not to absolutely love this book of essays about love.
Some essays hit me harder than others, but I had so many tears and heartwarming warm fuzzies from beginning to end. It was good. That’s all I can say.
Also note to self - if you read this or listen on audiobook, ensure you are in a good environment/.situation to deal with all of your feelings. Sincerely, somebody who was full on sobbing for all the neighbors to see while mowing her yard.

Man...
These stories are so lovely, it messes me up every time and I gotta go listen to my sad playlist. Like it seriously ruins my day. The TV show is even worse (and by worse, I mean there are moments that are so beautiful, both in the book and show, it makes me think these types of love are seriously unobtainable to some unlucky bastards in life and I'm one of them)
(note: I understand why it is sorted into categories from happy endings to sad endings to reconnecting etc, but it made my journey kinda depressing when I had to read multiple sad stories in a row. I kinda wonder if a more random arrangement would be better, so you could go from a super happy story to a sad one then to a pick-me-up story or something hmmm much to consider)
