I used to love to read short story when I was a child; however it seems like it takes me much longer than I expect to read this, probably because due to the nature of the stories my brain keeps going stop-start. Anyways, I enjoyed the content, really inspiring and some of them I wouldn’t have otherwise be aware of if it wasn’t for this book.

I'm not much for non-fiction books, but I loved this collection. It's like being in a warm comforting hug. What drew me in is that all these stories are real and that they're about all kinds of love and relationships. I also really liked the more mature perspective the writers had on their stories, how they were looking back after months or years of reflection.

The Five Stages of Ghosting Grief by Rachel Fields particularly spoke to me. I could see myself in the essay and it was reassuring to know I'm not alone.

My favourites were:
The Five Stages of Ghosting Grief - Rachel Fields
During a night of casual sex, urgent messagesgo unanswered - Andrew Rannels
Hear that wedding march often enough, you Fall in step - Larry Smith
You may want to marry my husband - Any Krause Rosenthal
Now I need a place to hide away - Ann Hood
Something like Motherhood - Carolyn Megan
When I was Sixteen, I Placed Him for Adoption.  Could We Try Again? - Meredith Hall
