A buffet of love, laughter and tears.

Honestly, this is such a sweet collection of Modern Love stories. I've been listening to the podcast for a few years now, and it was fun to actually sit down and read the essays. I love the celebrity readers on the podcast, but reading the essays actually feel more intimate. You actually get to imagine the original author's voice.

In this book, you will find many stories of romantic love. You will also find stories of familial love and friend love. This diversity breaks up what would otherwise be a pretty monotonous series of stories.

You know when someone asks you for a good book and you ALWAYS have one in your back pocket that you can recommend at all times and you know they'll enjoy it? That's what Modern Love will be for me, moving forward. It's an anthology about love. Not just about finding love with a significant other, but LOVE in every sort of situation you can imagine.

I finished in under a week because I simply couldn't stop reading it. Read this book!! Do it!

Only about half of the stories really stood out to me.

I loved this book, just as I love the NYT column and the streaming series. Vignettes that offer insight and reflection into so many relationships and aspects of the messiness of life.
