This might probably be last last book I read this year and  it was lovely.

The book is a collection of stories under the topic of love. What I love is that It’s not only romantic love that is in scope.

The stories are real, crisp and beautiful. They show love of parents, significant others ( LGBTQIA) , marriages, divorces , friends, acquaintances.

It’s not sappy like chicken soup for the soul kinda way but more like this is life types.

I watched the series before reading the book , this still don’t spoil my enjoyment. It can be re-read as well.

I strongly recommend watching the prime series with the same name . I think the tele series  gives a little extra back story/‘more bytes . For people like me who are greedy to really see more in a good story. The “ aww I wish the authors wrote some more ,too bad it wrapped up when we were having fun” kinda people.

It hits many prompts of the 2022 pop sugar challenge : sapphic book, protagonist with mobility aid ( one of the stories has it) , gender identity ( there are couple of stories on this) , some of the authors have written other books ( son this meets another book by an author you have already read) .

I usually end up not liking books of essays, short stories, or any of that...but I was pleasantly surprised. Such an enjoyable read! Can’t wait to see the series on Amazon Prime.

A collection of heartfelt and unforgettable essays that reads like short stories and are life/love stories of real people! Every essay is in a different tone and style, plus it's not just about romantic love but that plus family, friend and filial love. Really, it doesn't even feel like reading non-fiction. I devoured it in a few days and would recommend it if short stories/essays are your jam!

**A free finished was provided by Random House. All opinions are my own.**

This one is a great collection of Modern Love columns (plz tell me you know about this column from the @nytimes or the podcast!!) — heart-wrenching, humorous, poignant, wistful, wise, and just so, so very human. These are stories of love gained and lost and everything in between, and they are such a beautiful picture of humanity and emotions and just life. Big fan.

Read this in one afternoon. Many quick stories on the spectrum of love. I saw the series first and was intrigued. Very satisfying.
