If I weren't so far up the TV show's ass I'd raise issues with the pacing of this book, but frankly I was happy to turn off my critical thinking and l mindlessly annotate every scene with Eliot.

funnily enough i liked the first half when theyre in school way better than when theyre out in fillory. the show was surprisingly faithful to the book
