So...small complaint here. There's a storyline about finding Wallace, the child which turned out to have been a villain trying to capture Puppycat. Turns out he's real and his mom misses him. Bee and PC manage to find Wallace, and the story ends with a "To Be Continued...." And...it...hasn't been? At least as far as I've read, up to issue #9. That's...kind of irritating, really.

But, as for the rest of the collection...quite enjoyable, if your a B&PC fan! It really feels like the animated series, which is exactly what you'd want in the comics. Bee is still very irresponsible, running out of money or attempting to do adulty things and failing badly. PC is still 99% self-centered, but willing to sacrifice for Bee. The storylines are random, but the art is stunning.

This tends to pop up in Humble Bundles once or twice a year, so you can get this and probably the rest of the issues at a very good price if you keep an eye out for a while. Ebooks, but that's honestly probably the better medium for graphic novels, given quality of printing vs. screen displays.

I read this book for school and really enjoyed it - I thought the use of the QR codes in the music box scenes was really creative and made for an innovative multimedia experience. I enjoyed the art style and the characters; I found myself confused by some of the side-plots like the wrestling one, but I think that was mostly due to the fact that I was not familiar with the series prior to reading this comic.

When I first read this, I didn't know it was based off the YouTube episodes. I was confused about some of the storyline and felt that it had a lot of holes. After watching all the available episodes on YouTube, I understood a lot more of the comic. I ended up rereading the trade and found it a lot more enjoyable after familiarizing myself with the story's background.

I think there is a little bit of Bee in all of us. Favorite stories from this selection include "a nice day off," "the perfect sandwich," and "hungry."

Really cute but it's way too short. Just watch the show guys unless you're desperate for more Bee and Puppycat content.

For my niece’s birthday I was trying to find some comics for her. I wanted to try and find some that weren’t based on super heroes. I am big fan of alternative comics, so I searched around. I randomly found Bee and Puppycat, and I loved the cartoons, so why not? I read the book before giving it to her and dubbed the books not very kid friendly. Some bits were a little confusing and the story had QR codes part of the plot. A cool thing, but I knew they would need the help of their mother. So I kept it for myself ^__~

The collection of comics are by various artists and writers so they quality changes a lot. But in some ways I like seeing the varying art styles and story lengths. What does stink is that because there are different artists working on the books there isn’t an overall theme or story arc. If I remember correctly there was even a story ending with “to be continued” but doesn’t get finished in this volume.

But I do think the stories capture the feel of the cartoon. The stories really utilize the comic medium well, which can be hard when making adaptations to an animation. It didn’t feel like they took the character from a cartoon and plopped them down on paper. I could imagine the voices of the characters and the movements that would be represented from the cartoon. I think this is a great comic for anyone who like the show, and it is fun for people who haven’t seen it as well.
