A book that shows the other side of demons....the one you don't think they have....the one that wants to be loved.
But don't think they all have this side....they don't. Its learning to see it in each one.

Charles is a Incubus (on his fathers side) and (of all things) is a cupid (on his mothers side).
After 100 years of meaningless sex and soul grabbing, Charles finally sees "The One" for him. Due to his mothers side he can see peoples true loves, and for some reason, hes been able to see his.

He follows her - shes a truck driver, so travels everywhere.
His indecision of what to say, when to meet, how to get her trust is actually endearing and made me smile.
Naturally Marion is wary - shes had to harden herself to proof to her and other truck drivers that shes determined about her choice of work.

However, she may be a truck driver.....but she has a bounty on her head the largest ever seen, by demons. The only reason they haven't found her? When she was born an angel created it so no one - not even the "good guys" could find her for 25 years.......and yup, shes 24 and a few days away from this landmark date that could end her life that very day.

She agrees to stay in a motel with Charles for the night to rest *cough*. Of course Charles seduces her - its what hes good at (incubus remember?) but Marion is actually immune to his powers, due to the shield. And as he revels in her touch and their bonding, she is loved like never before, and does develop feelings there and then for him.

However, Charles needs to hurry.....

He needs to get her to the safety of the only people he called family hes got - and by coincidence - Marion's true grandmother. Her home and land is like a huge demon repellent, and beings in there cannot be seen or detected.

Marion is furious. She finds out what Charles is, what his brothers are, where hes brought her......

Until her grandmother sits her down and fills in the blanks in her life.......

While the demons try to find her, shes safely, but frustrated by being almost a prisoner in the tiny house and takes risks that has Charles snarling at her rather than carrying on trying to show how much he loves her.

when a life changing event takes place and Marion has little choice.......things start to get interesting.
We learn more about Charles father, Marion's parents, Charles brothers and wife's, and shes introduced to a world she had no idea existed.

Question is.......will she stay when it all comes down to it?

A really good book to read, really enjoyed it, there are some comical streaks through it, serious moments, love abundant. If you like paranormal romance, this could be for you - but don't expect any vampires or werewolves in this one! And this is heavier on the romance!

A Demon in Love is the second book in a series and I wasn’t aware of that when I received it. With that being said I felt that the author explained enough of what happened in the first book that I wasn’t left scratching my head in confusion. I really want to read the first book though to hear the story of Charles’ brother and his mate.

I really liked this more than I thought I would like it. It ended up with some cliches in it that bother me and I was kinda upset that they were there. Since it is a major aspect of the book I don’t want to give away any of the plot since it takes a while before this event happens. With that being said I really liked the way it was done. It wasn’t used as a ploy to rope in or hero but actually moved the plot forward so other events could happen and I loved that.

Marion is such an awesome female lead. She was strong and snarky and even though she was confused and liked a guy she didn’t give up who she was or what she believed for a guy and I really appreciate that. Charles was an interesting character as well. I really wish that we got more time in his head. The story was mostly told from Marion’s POV and I really would of loved to see it more in his head.

I would for sure say that this book is more a romance and coming into who you are story than anything thing else. Which is fine but I wish that that the plans that the brothers were participating was a bigger part of the story. I really liked the hints of what they were up to and wish more was mentioned.

I plan to read more of this series in the future to find out the brothers stories as well as to see glimpses of Charles and Marion. I liked this if you are looking for a nice paranormal romance than you should check this one out.
