This book was really enjoyable. The authors sense of humor was perfect for the topic. The audiobook was voiced so well by the main narrator and the one that did the news clips or the doctors advice. I learned so much and had fun doing it.

Things I learned.
Women in the Victorian era didn't wear underwear. There was a practical reason for this
they needed to use the restroom and couldn't deal with underwear with the long fluffy dresses
.

The term nit-picking came from picking lice, literally picking nits.

It was believed that music would cause menstruation to start early therefore reducing the time a woman would be young and beautiful.

They believed female climax was achieved if the penis touched the womb. I see now why men were obsessed with having large penises.

The diet fad of the time was tapeworms. What I learned that's new is that when the dewormer completed its work the woman would pass the worm in her feces. The tip would come out, then the woman would have to get a grip on it and pull it the rest of the way out...sometimes up to 30 feet of worm.

And finally, a thank you to all the men that helped women to figure out what to do with their bloody vaginas.
