Honestly, I expected a lot more. It started out pretty okay, and then got slow and dull and I had zero want to pick it back up. Considering how long I've had this book on my bookshelf waiting to be read, let alone that I love vampire books of all kinds, it's a big disappointment.

And by the time I realized that he was leaving me, he was a mere speck down there against the occasional flickering in the water under the moon. I never saw him again.
