Meh. I dunno there’s so much hype around this book as the one That started the vampire crazed but I really don’t find it that interesting. The main character in the whiny and oblivious and the main thing he has going for him is that he sees pretty things? This one is a leave it for me.
This book is really interesting but the show is 1000x better. I enjoyed reading to know what the show changed or improved on. I didn't love the audiobook narration since it is read by a man that sounds elderly in a vaguely English accent even though Louis was a 25-year-old Frenchman that moved to NOLA. I will definitely read the rest of the books but honestly bc I'm OBSESSED with the AMC series.
