I was surprised by how much I liked this. It was a cute story and the characters weren't flat.

I went into a his book giving it 5 stars because I love the movie so much! But the ending was a cliff hanger and well I’m not a fan of cliff hangers.

This book gave me the feels it was lighthearted and emotional and through it all I loved Lara Jean’s relationship with Peter. I think he helped her come out of her comfort zone and she helped Peter realize it’s okay to be himself. Overall this book is a great coming of age story though I did find at times Lara Jean got on my last nerves. What teenager doesn’t?! LOL

I did feel her father relied on the girls why too much and her sister Margot just gave pushy & judgmental. Overall I enjoyed this book even though some parts felt rushed while others dragged on a bit yet I  can’t wait for the next one!

3.75 stars. Pleasantly surprised by this! I honestly really enjoyed all of the movie adaptations of this series, but because I watched the movies first, I wasn’t very motivated to read the books. I was also pretty let down by TSITP books by the same author even though I liked the show which decreased my motivation even further. I’m trying to overcome some major jet lag, so I decided one night at 4am to start listening to a mindless audiobook to try to help me sleep. Ended up listening to the whole book over 2 sleepless nights
