Informative but (sadly) not surprising

As a woman, I’ve never felt so acknowledged and also so conscious of our invisibility to the world.

Quite fascinating. The gender data gap leads to so many issues in so many spheres. Quite frightenin  that it is still happening, and possibly getting worse. Women are invisible - especially when masculine is the norm.  Women are carers and do most unpaid and unrecognised work. Women are victims of men's violence. The solution: just ask women.

I learned a lot from this book- she touches on many different data gaps that impact women in invisible ways. Highly recommend.

A very insightful read. There was a lot of statistics thrown about in the book it can be overwhelming at first.

White feminists; this is for you!
I can’t give a book with such glaringly obvious holes more than 2 stars. There were some interesting facts and information included in it, but this book only views feminist issues through a cis, white, heterosexual lens, which really, in terms of gender equality and feminism, means nothing at all.
