A little out of date, and only deals with cis women, but definitely interesting and informative.

The book focuses on cis-women; although not explicitly mentioned, the examples and studies cited point towards that direction. Having said that, I feel this is a must-read book. It truly exposes the data gap and makes you see the world differently. It’s infuriating and frustrating to read and, at the same time, an eye-opener. Reality hits hard.

An ambitious analysis of sexism through the lens of data that is simultaneously overly thorough and not thorough enough. The choice to not include intersex and trans folks in this analysis or pay any mention of imperialism/capitalism is its pitfall. The author essentially boils down all her research to a very unsavory bioessentialist liberal feminism.
