Listen … I have a bad feeling Adam is up to something suspicious and I never liked him anyways. Castle is still not my fav I hate how mysterious he comes off as like just tell us the truth we all know you know dude. I was truly so mad at the revelation about Anderson being indestructible but am I even surprised? Not really. This is the first book I’ve read where I don’t think the ‘marry me’ trope is cringey and horrible. I’m happy he didn’t listen to Kenji and just asked her in a chill way (but I think he’s going to end up giving her his moms ring)!!! Also, was totally waiting for Ella to pull out a random gift to the bday party since Aaron said he’s never gotten a gift before but … womp womp no gift just a happy ending … suspicious. ALSO, are we really just going to get over Juliette that fast … I love that name and they all just adopted Ella so quick it was unreal, except for Kenji I guess who keeps calling her J but that doesn’t count. This book is def one of my favs hopefully the next one is a STRONG conclusion or I’ll be upset.

I liked this book, but especially enjoyed the second half.

The added perspective of Kenji was nice, but it disappeared halfway through the novel and made it feel like his perspective was not needed. I think nothing would have changed if his perspective had been removed from the novel.

I really enjoyed seeing the story unfold from both Juliette and Warner's perspectives. I also enjoyed seeing their story unfold whilst learning more about the Reestablishment and Juliette's parents.

The second half of the novel was the stronger part of the novel and I enjoyed what was revealed about the Reestablishment.

Overall, this was an okay novel and I'm interested to see how the series ends.
