The reader of the audiobooks does an excellent job. She has a voice a bit like Lisa Simpson, which would probably be annoying outside anything other than Lisa or Junie, but she does an absolutely excellent job of reading Junie's strange grammar -- the character really does sound like a six-year-old.
Junie B. is really fun to read aloud. Yes, she has bad grammar. Yes, she can be pretty naughty. But she is also very funny and relatable. I gave this five stars from my son's point of view.
Guess who's not invited? That meanie Jim has invited everyone in Room Nine to his birthday party on Saturday- except Junie B.! Should she have her own birthday party six months early and not invite Jim? Or should she move to It's a Small World After All in Disneyland?
