Reviews with content warning for Sexual content - Love, Hate & Clickbait

I’m not sure why fan fiction writers all of a sudden are being told they can actually make it into the publishing world but this book lowkey felt like someone who was used to writing fan fiction. Thom didn’t have any growth throughout the entire book and while Clay had his minor moments of stuck up behavior in the beginning, that seems to go away when we get further into the book. I’m not sure in what actual politic world a Governor wanting to become President uses and baits her staff to get her out of situations she herself could have clearly avoided. How does that make her a good leader? It doesn’t. Also why are we ok with two gay men not prepping when anal sex is involved? You need lube!!

This was a very cute romantic comedy book. I didn’t fall in love with the two main characters as much as I wanted to but I do love where the plot went and I did like the ending. It’s very lighthearted and a good read if you’re in the mood for something that’s not to plot heavy and not too deep. It was a good filler/beach read.

Fake-dating, grumpy/sunshine rom-com that was a lot of fun.
Was a bit sceptical when I first started the book because the main characters were so unlikeable and the premise a bit outlandish, but the character growth really kept me intrigued.
