Ooohhhh I LOVED this series! It was SOO entertaining and it kept me hooked the whole way through! It's definitely one of my favorites! I love all the characters and their relationships with each other and I love Gatlin! It's like the setting itself is its own character and I love that.

This book was my favorite out of the series. It was touching, fast-pace, and really, really good. I'll have to read it again to give an honest review, and it will mostly be gushing, anyway. I loved how it went from Ethan's POV to Lena's. It gave a look from life w/o Lena and life w/o Ethan. I liked how Dream Dark actually intertwined with this one, instead of just being a stupid filler for money. It made the events in this books all the more interesting, in my opinion.
I wish the end had been a teensy bit longer, with Amma and all, but I understand why it wasn't too long, for fear of it being over dramatic. I think this was a perfect wrap up to the series. It was happy, yet had some consequences and sacrifice. If you didn't like the third book like I did, then I'd say still pick up this one. It's worth your time.

I was actually kind of disappointed with this. I didn't hate it. But. Idk I just could not get into this at all. More detailed review to come.

So this book was a little disappointing and exceeded my expectations all in one shot. I was disappointed because I was hoping there would be more in the end between Lena and Ethan. Maybe even a glimpse into the future. I enjoyed the beginning especially with Ethan's Mom, Aunt Prue and the Greats. But what I didn't enjoy was all the running around and the flip flop between perspectives. I understand why it had to be there but it felt a little disjointed although I definitely prefer one point of view at a time like it was written. I don't know I just don't like alternating points of view very much even though in this case I understood. I did really enjoy the scenes with Lena more than I expected and I was very glad to see that she was just as committed to getting Ethan back I'll admit after Beautiful Darkness I wasn't sure if she would be. I really lost alot of respect for Lena in that book and she gained most of that back here. I also really enjoyed Ethan and Xavier's friendship. That's part of the reason I was hoping for maybe like an epilogue with Ethan an old man filling in Xavier on the rest of his life. It would've been interesting and I'm definitely a sucker for those kind of endings(Clockwork Princess anyone?) Overall, I really enjoyed this series and it was a good ending for the series.
