This was a great read a true thriller, but now im just very sad. I want to scream at the main character DON’T GO THERE, PLEASE TALK TO YOUR PARENTS! But me feeling so deeply for these characters just shows how good the writer was in making them feel extremely real. Imma need a few days after this book. 😞😞

Lisa Jewell is a master in atmospheric writing, characterization, and making the most mundane moments so provocative and visceral. However, the mystery itself was over-explained and didn’t leave anything to the imagination, which it could have benefitted from. Can’t wait to read more from her!
