3.5 ⭐️’s. This one was a struggle for me. Not enough to hold my attention. Case was sorta boring and predictable. Onto the next!

This is Book #6 in the Winter Black series. I’m going to be really sad when this series is all done. Another awesome book! Love this book and series. Can’t wait to read the next one.

FBI Agent Winter Black is being taunted by her brother who was kidnapped 13 years ago.  How will Winter handle this?  Does she go back to the person she was when she went after the serial killer, The Preacher?  Or, will she continue to be a team player?  This is made more difficult because her partner, Noah Dalton's biological father is in trouble and causing trouble.  This book explores family.  What is a biological parent and what to we owe them?  I enjoyed this book but it was hard to see Noah's character struggle and continue to be hurt.  The book moved a lightning speed.  Another great entry.
