I am just in such a reading slump, and my libby hold expired. Definitely want to revisit this one.

Interesting and heartbreaking - more reliant on archival material than theory which I like! One of the most fascinating parts was about the afforestation of the occupied territories resulting in not only erasure of any evidence of the Palestinians displacement but also invasive species and negative impacts on the land because they were planting non-native, more “European” trees (pine) instead of the natural olive.

Thorough, engaging and well researched. Would recommend to anyone interested in understanding Palestine and the Nakba. I have a much more thorough understanding of what occurred and the horrors Palestinians experienced.
