A great basic introduction into how the world came to it's current state economically. Tapers off structurally in terms of how we reduce inequality however, which itself is the question that prompted the book to be written.

I dropped out of studying economics and this book perfectly puts into words why. There is a part where Varoufakis recounts the plot of Frankenstein completely wrong, which I found funny.

Reading this book made me realise I did not know anything about the economy.
Now I know a bit more, but not enough to make any real changes.
Oh well, this book has been a good starting point.
