While there were aspects of the story I connected with - particularly around grief and exploring complicated relationships - I found it veryyyy challenging to connect with the style of writing. It is intentional and well-executed, but just not for me.

This was my first book by Sally Rooney. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure I'll read another one by her anytime soon. Lack of plot and open-door sex scenes are usually things I don't enjoy in a novel. But the chatacters in this book, especially Ivan and Margaret, really grew on me and kept me reading.
