This duology all together is a 4 star for me! I love the action, the badass fmc, the panic, the friendship. The friendship is my favorite part of both of these. The romance was just a bonus!

I’m kind of disappointed with this one… I really liked Alisa’s personality in the first book but she was sooo annoying in this one and the choices she made didn’t fit her character to me. I did like the plot of this one just as much as the first book tho. But the side characters were more one dimensional in this one and the romance didn’t really impact me in this one

Equally good as the first, just a bit boring and obvious towards the end. Still, I really enjoyed getting to know Alosa’s crew and see how she and they all operate within it. Would love to see more of this world from any of their perspectives!!

I loved this one even more than the first!!! Swashbuckling pirates, sirens, romance, danger! It was a wild ride! I loved every minute of it!!!
