Much like ‘Daughter of the Pirate King’, this was a fun, fast-paced and overall great read. Riden and Alosa are such a power-duo.
Highly recommend this duology if you like pirate/siren reads.

I did make the mistake of reading this RIGHT after I finished ‘To Kill a Kingdom’ so I constantly confused Riden with Elian and Alosa with Lira whoops (they both have red hair give me a break).

This was a very fun read! Dynamic and feisty main character, love how the story was written too. The world building was very well done too. Snide remarks from Alosa, the main character, were fun hehe

The second book is even better than the first! It was much more of an adventure with higher stakes and thrilling fights. Such a fun read!
