An honest, raw and validating look at womanhood through Em Rata considering her relation to her own body throughout her life, culminating in how that relationship changes when she gives birth to her son. This book is female rage encapsulated, and is relatable in its entirety. I would recommend it to anyone.

A gut-wrenching telling of Emily's experiences with her body. Listening to her narrator her own audiobook and tell her stories was both heartbreaking and empowering. Many triggering topics and discussions, so proceed with caution. Nonfiction/Memoir, so no rating from me.
