Night, being a book I had to read for English class, I didn't expect it to be quite so view changing. The Holocaust is a subject in history that I am no stranger to. It is an event that showcases just how cruel humans can be. A subject I thought I knew well enough, before reading this book. This book was as heartbreaking as it was real. As honest as it was beautiful. A book one would think crude and unnecessary simply shows the actions humans are capable of doing and real feelings. A thing I find highly important. In life or death situations, a morally wrong mindset is the realest it gets. (Reason half a star less is the fact that I read it in the span of 2 months for school).
Moderate: Body horror, Child death, Confinement, Cultural appropriation, Death, Death of parent, Physical abuse, and Torture
Minor: Animal death and Fire/Fire injury
