Kitap okumak isteyipte bir türlü başlayamadığım bu dönemde ilgimi çeken bir içerik oldu hikaye. Dedim ben bunu okurum.

Yazarın Windsors Serisini sevmiştim.Ama o seriyi yazanla bu kitabı yazan aynı kişi olamaz. Çok amatör bir anlatım vardı. Bağlanamadım bir türlü.
Başlangıçta bölümler arası geçişlerin, asıl konuya gelene kadar hızlı hızlı geçme amacıyla böyle yazıldığını düşündüm. Ama hikaye genelinde böyleydi. Çok çabuk olay atlanıyor.Yani sürecin anlatım aşaması yetersiz kalıyor.Bende ki hissiyatı buydu.

Tabi karakterler de var. Alec ve onun karışık sinyalleri beni aşırı yıprattı.Hele bir ara aldığı mesajlar yüzünden aklında yer edinen "Acabalar?" beni benden aldı.
Elena deseniz bir dik duramadı.Hep mahsun, hep ağlak hep muhtaç.Anlıyorum.Yaşadıkları yenilir yutulur gibi değil.Ama sonrasında, sözde başını dik tuttuğu sahnelerdeki tavırları aşırı arabesk geldi.Yani rol kesiyor havası vardı. Olmamış.Yakışmamış üstüne.

Konuyu söylemiyorum bile.Dert üstüne dert, olay üstüne olay...

Maalesef aradığımı bulamadım. Üzdü bu durum beni.

THE WORD ALPHAHOLE SHOULD NOT EXSIST IDK WHY IT WAS USED TO DESCRIBE SOMEONE EVN IF ITS JUST IN THE AUTHORSNOTE I ALMOST DIDNT READ THE BOOK!! continuing on. alec! 1 i hate that nickname. 2 HE WAS SO ANNOYING ABOUT THE WHOLE BEING CHEATED ON BEFORE LKE GET OVER JT OMG i get like his father was cheater and his fiancé left him and he thought he loved her but like u didn’t so get over it. AND THE FACT HE THOUGHT ELENA WAS CHEATING HIM WITH HIS FREAKING GAY BROTHER IS SO FUCKING HILARIOUS LIKE WHAT!?!?!? and the blackmail situation was just terrible :( my heart broke for him BUT HE HAS ELLIOT NOW

I loved how it was fast paced and it had short chapters, since I'm in a reading slump it helped a lot! I fell in love with the characters and the plot kept me interested!

this book was decent don't get me wrong, and i liked elena's character and her development, she was written quite good? initially, she was a pushover but that changed. i wish i liked alec, but i feel like this issue comes up a lot in Maura's work, where the men are decent but fuck up so dumbly. babes was so scared of love like.... get a grip. anyway, loved the love elena had for her mum very cute.
