Este mes fue flojo en la lectura y sin muchas ganas de leer, así que me dió ganas de reeler y en esos está este libro, que me gusta mucho porque tiene de todo, un dragón de esos que te tiene alerta, esperando por más, tiene celos, toxicidad, complot, humillación, casamiento por conveniencia, drama, etc etc, no le doy 5 estrellas porque Alec le faltó arrastrarse más, la primera vez que lo leí le daba 5, pero ahora le doy 4 porque es verdad que Alec es bien estúpido el muchacho y Elena le falta mucho amor propio, al final al fue que medio se dio a respetar, pero es que no se puede esperar arrastre de esta autora si ella nunca escribe eso, lo que si es que Alec esta bien caido de la mata, estaba bien enamorado de Elana y seguia fingiendo que no

I adored this so much!! Elena and Alec were absolutely perfect, their dynamic was scorching and I was rooting for them the whole time.
Elena was so sweet yet still strong and resilient, she was the perfect heroine.
Alec just oozed power and control, yet inside he was a fluffy marshmallow, I adored him.

the writing was giving first try at wattpad, the dialogue was cringey, the soap opera plot was laughable and the worst part is the smut didnt even make up for it… the one star is generous believe me

it's true that this feels like i'm reading an old wattpad marriage of convenience book, but i didn't entirely mean that in a positive way. this is the first book i tried from this author before diving into the series clock app peeps recommended to me — but honestly, i don't think i'll be picking up for a second one. there's just too much drama, and i can't find the depth. i was even excited at first because the book cover looks really good, and knowing the tropes, i thought i'd love it. but the writing is just so mid for me. the dialogues feel corny and super unrealistic. if i had read this when i was 13 or 14, maybe i would've liked it.
