4 - leider wie bei allen london-büchern hab ich ewig gebraucht um reinzukommen, auch die charakterisierung von den neuen leuten war schwierig. Kell, lila, rhy und alucard sind toll wie immer, die lydia? finde ich ziemlich fragwürdig, aber abwarten. Sonst die storyline ist interessant, flashbacks haben mich nicht soooo genervt, aber naja. Trotzdem gut!

I was so excited for this book, but just couldn't get into it. The arrangement of the chapters led to my disinterest, and contributed to issues with pacing. I wanted to love it, but just don't do as much for me as Darker Shades trilogy. It also felt like a launching off point for "the next trilogy" but I'm not convinced I need to follow through.

Great book! Didn’t realize when I started reading that it’s part of a larger series by V. E. Schwab so most of the book was pretty confusing. Excited to read more!
