What a wonderful end to this series. I wish it could just go on and on forever. These characters have embedded themselves in my brain and will not leave.

I'm so so so so happy with how this ended.

Love love love! Short, sweet, and what we've all been waiting for, Hunter and Gretchen's wedding! It was nice to revisit with old characters and see wounds healing between the Petty sisters, and really Hunter and Gretchen are my favorite couple so I'm so glad we got to see their wedding (and all the chaos leading up to it!)

Can't wait for the new Roughneck Billionaire series from Jessica Clare!

This was okay but it wasn't really about Gretchen and Hunters wedding (which is what I was expecting from the title). I was sort of expecting it to be mostly focussed on Gretchen and Hunter but with a recap of all the couples in the billionaires boys club with their wives and the bridesmaids and their husbands so I was a bit disappointed when it was pretty much Daphne's story with a bit of wedding freak out going on from Gretchen.

It was nice to see that Daphne got herself sorted but I'd have preferred reading a separate short about that (or at least not one with that title).

The wedding was sweet, but I really liked Daphne’s story. After her addictions & destructive behavior, she finally gets her happy ending. It was nice to see her in recovery and thriving.

Nice to revisit the gang, and to see Daphne get some closure. But boy oh boy did this novella need more from Audrey and Reese, surely the series MVPs more so than Gretchen and Hunter? Ah well.

Someone's out to ruin Gretchen's happy-ever-after on the eve before the big day. Can she trust Hunter, the man she's given her heart to? And can she rely on her sister Daphne (the least reliable person of all!) to help her salvage things? Or is this marriage going to go down in flames before Gretchen and Hunter ever get to the altar?

This was a cute little novella.

I did have a couple of issues though...Maybe this was just me, but I thought this was supposed to serve as a sort of segway into the next series? The members of the wedding party were all talked about but there was a lot that kind of felt like you were supposed to already know about them. I will admit that maybe I did things out of order (should I have read the next series between One Night with a Billionaire and this one?) But even if that should have happened, there could have been a little...more to explain that (I guess? I don't know for sure, but it did confuse me a bit)

I loved the fact that Hunter and Gretchen fit so well together. It was kind of hilarious watching as Gretchen freaked out over everything, even going so far as to worry that Hunter would want someone else (but really, why would she ever go that far?). I really loved the way he calmed her down and it was a little disappointing that he had to ruin his surprise, but at least he was quick to allay her fears because he didn't ever want her to worry that he was after someone else or anything like that. Although I did have to wonder why the hell Gretchen would think he'd ever have an affair?

I did like the sidestory with Daphne and Wes. It's nice that she's finally found someone who can keep her grounded.
