Look, this book is absolute shit. But it's my shitty novel. Will I ever recommend this to anyone? No. Are Nora and Patch in a toxic relationship? Yes. to be honest, i dislike the first half but it turns out to be amazing and awesome for the second half and i couldnt agree more about the ending bc the ending is heartbreaking yet beautiful. i cried when patch got sent to hell because i didnt know that he could come back and cried a river when scott died. but the epilogue is so wonderful and beautiful. i love you, fitzpatrick. thank you for the amazing story and thank you for creating patch.
im honestly so upset that Scott died, he deserved better. Also i really liked Marcie? For her to die like that at the end and nobody carrying kinda made me feel sad. Idk i had hoped more for this books, it was still good and i enjoyed reading it. But only in the last 100 pages were some nora and patch moments that were good. Like before it almost seemed he wasn’t her boyfriend? I know they had to be distant but still. I’m glad Vee got a lovely husband because she owns my heart and deserves the world. It is kinda weird that’s everyone was suddenly super natural. but whatever.
This was honestly one of the best books I've read. I read the whole series in four days and that's new for me cause I never really took and interest in reading before. This book gave me so many different emotions. Patch. Ahh. I wish they would've explained more into detail how he got his feeling back. I feel like having that at the end of the book kinda rushed things. I also wish they didn't jump RIGHT into the epilogue where Vee gets married. I wish they would've explained more on that too. But otherwise this whole series was just phenomenal!! I definitely recommend you read it! :)

Also I'm bitter about Scott's death and the death of Scott x Vee. I'm glad she's happy though.
I'm bitter that Marcie turned out the way she did, I was hoping she wasn't a flat character, but she was. -_-

The last book of the Hush Hush series, so many wonderful memories, so many unforgettable scenes, so many tears, laughs, and shocks...I will never forget this series for all it was worth. My journey with this series was one I enjoyed very much and I hoped would last forever, but alas, all good things have to come to an end....but at least Becca Fitzpatrick knew how to make a lasting impression with her fourth and final book. It was the perfect ending! I was completely hooked on every single word and something intense was happening in all parts of the book. Not one word or sentence could be overlooked or ignored as it was vital to the story. Of course, because the book was so capturing and flowed very well, it would’ve been impossible to have missed anything in it. The characters were much more developed, there was definitely a growth in the amount of action from the first book to this one, the romance was off the grill, and of course there was some humor, but not a lot (the only sad part about the books). But leaving aside all that, my favorite part was the development of the plot. I loved that each book led up to the grand ‘finale’ in the last one; it made for the series to be more suspenseful.
As I said before, the characters were much more developed in this book, especially Nora. I’m actually quite proud of how much she’s grown from the first book until now. Although she didn’t do a complete transformation and become a complete of the rockers bad-ass, she’s certainly not the shy and introverted girl that she was in the first book. She’s now more determined to protect herself and others and tries to do her best in order to help save man-kind (as it is all up to her now, ha ha). Although, I’m not saying I completely loved her in this book, she did make some stupid decisions like always, but she wouldn’t be Nora without her terrible decision-making skills. My favorite part about Nora in this book was that she tries to take leadership and she doesn’t back down even with tons of hard-ass fallen angel dudes leaning over her shoulder at every chance. Knowing her, I thought she would’ve peed in her pants, but she definitely proved me wrong. I feel like my love...ok...that’s a bit extreme....maybe, great like, for Nora has grown over the series alongside her strength.
Patch...*sigh*...oh sweet, sweet, sweet Patch. You will always be one of my most favorite book boyfriends and I well never ever forget you or your charm and witty one-liners. Without Patch, to be honest, half this series would’ve just been a joke. In Finale, I didn’t much like the fact that Patch was absent for a great deal of the story. Yes, he had his troubles and Nora had hers, but I wish he was in here just a tad bit more..yah know? Just a tad. But other than that, I still loved him in this book just as I have loved him since his and Nora’s first meeting. He was protective, bad-ass and funny...basically...amazing!
Patch and Nora’s relationship in this book was off the charts people! They had to stage a break-up (which was one of my favorite scenes in this book...hilarious!) in order to get the Nephilim to believe that Nora is 100% on their side, but they still had secret rendezvous’ and shared secret love scenes hot enough to lift a thousand hot-air balloons into the sky. Aside from them, all the other characters were great! I loved Scott in this book way more than the others as he tried to help Nora when she was in trouble. Even the others, such as Marcie and Debra who were as annoying as ever, added to the amazingness that this book was.
All in all, I’m glad that Fitzpatrick decided to create a fourth book (unlike many other people) because I’m not sure I was ready to leave this series yet. Who cares if it was originally a trilogy? All I know is that I enjoyed it a great deal and was very satisfied with the ending. Props to you Miss. Fitzpatrick, for creating a hooking and entertaining series.

Meine Meinung:
Ich muss ja wirklich sagen, dass ich die Farben der deutschen Cover lieber mag. Die Blautöne sind viel wärmer, als das grau der Originale. Ich steh im Moment zwar mehr Schwarz/Weiß, aber nicht bei dieser Reihe.
Von der Idee in dem Buch war ich wirklich angetan. Nora wird zur Führerin der Nephilim und führt weiterhin eine Beziehung mit Patch. Diese Kombi kann ja nur aufregend sein. Vor allem, da die Nephelim, die sie führen soll, nicht sicher waren, ob sie ihr trauen können.
Die Umsetzung fand ich auch gar nicht so schlecht. Es gab ein paar Momente, mit denen ich nicht wirklich gerechnet habe, aber im Großen und Ganzem fand ich es doch sehr vorhersehbar und wenige Stellen haben mich überrascht. Leider habe ich unfreiwillig vorher einen Spoiler gelesen, der mich wirklich geschockt hat. Dadurch, dass ich es schon wusste, hat es mich beim lesen natürlich nicht mehr so schockiert.
Ich kam nicht wirklich gut in das Buch hinein, weil ich mich an die Geschehnisse des vorherigen Buches nur schwach erinnern konnte, aber ich kam immer besser hinein, weil die wichtigen Dinge immer wieder mal erwähnt worden sind.
Was mich enttäuscht hat, ist, dass Nora die Anführerin der Nephilim-Armee sein soll, aber davon hab ich nie wirklich etwas gespürt. Es wurde drüber geredet aber folgten bis zum Schluss nie wirklich Handlungen.
Der Schreibstil war sehr flüssig zu lesen und auch sehr verständlich. Ich konnte wieder gut in die Welt von Becca Fitzpatrick eintauchen.
Die Charaktere haben eine wirklich blöde Entwicklung durchgemacht, um es nett auszudrücken. In meinen Augen benimmt sich Nora so, als kann sie keine Entscheidung selber treffen. Sie ergreift bis zum Schluss nicht wirklich selbst die Initiative. Selbst da eigentlich nicht, wenn man es sich genau anschaut. Sie tut immer das, was ihr gesagt wird und nicht das, was sie selber möchte.
Auch Patch verliert auch an Charme. Er wird mir viel zu besitzergreifend. Ok, er möchte Nora schützen und sie in Sicherheit wissen, aber das geht irgendwann einfach nur auf die Nerven.
Die einzigen Charaktere die mir gefallen haben, waren Scott, Vee und auch Marcie. Warum Marcie mir gefellan hat, kann ich wirklich nicht sagen, denn damit würde ich glaube ich zu viel verraten.
Fazit:
