I attended a conference with this author. Very gracious and generous with her expertise. I was moved by the scene of Emma and her dad in a tree when she read it aloud in class. Just beautiful. Reminded of me and my daughter. I read a couple of this series to my five year old son and he loved them as well. He likes that Emma "sneaks" and gets in trouble. Fine books, great voice, and we thoroughly enjoyed them.
