I was honestly disappointed by the end of the book. It completely veres away from the plot and more or less only focuses on the romance.

I’m a sucker for a dystopian, fuck corrupt government, the bad guys might be the good guys story and this one is no exception. Toss in some spice, some romance, some high fantasy and fucking dragons? I’m hooked. Holy moly.

so I loved this book, not that it is perfect. I prefer it in audio format. The writing style lends itself to an audio format in my opinion. There are plot holes, but it is designed that way as the history and political story unfolds.

Holy shit!!! What took me so long to read this book!!! It is incredible!!! Rebecca Yarros is in the same league with Sarah J Maas except with Rebecca it doesn’t take a book or 2 to get me addicted to the series, I was hooked from the beginning! I loved everything about this book & I already want to read it again!!! But instead I’m going to go start Iron Flame! 😍
