OMG

I'm in love with this book. There is drama, love, suspense, and action. Genesis is a wonderful character. The character descriptions are on point too. Can't wait to read the next one.

I requested this title from netgally and i would love to thank them and the publisher for allowing to read this story even though it came out a year or so go.

The plot was dark and sexy which I always have love. The writing style in my opinion was easy to follow and I absolutely loved this story. Thank you for allowing me to read it!

Good start to this series! There are supernatural beings - vampires, werewolves, angels, demons and sirens - and they periodically choose a human to mate with. I like that the council (one of each of the beings) is all staying in the same house, so we get frequently interactions between everyone. I love Mason so much and hope there’s a lot more of him to come!

This the first book in a new series by Rachel Van Dyken. This book introduces us to the Immortals and 1 human, Genisis who gets called up to help the immortals. We meet Genisis, Ethan, Stephanie, Alex , Mason and Cassius in this book. Cassius is King of the immortals. Genisis is called to be a mate to one of the immortals. We see Ethan and his connection to Genisis in this book and Cassius trying to change that. The dynamic between Genisis and Ethan is funny and full of chemistry. I loved the interactions between all the characters and how it builds up it all for us to get to know them all. I love Ethan and Genisis and there connection comes across true and real. Rachel Van Dyken pulls you in and makes you feel like you are right there. She keeps you laughing through out and feel the emotions. Grab this one!!

Interesting spin on human mates for the supernatural. Plucky heroine, hot vampire hero, various supernaturals for secondary characters, a Nephilim and his estranged arch-angel father.
