Again, quite a bit of smut, but I liked Silver's story much more than Oriana's. There was more depth to it and the characters. This one was easier to keep track of the characters (maybe because there weren't 6 of them all together at one time...) but just when I was getting used to the ones I know the author brought new people in....gah!

This is an erotic romance that like the characters will have you testing boundaries. Silver Delgado is a gorgeous young woman with serious Daddy issues (as in Daddy is complete and total jerk which we learned in Game Misconduct, Dartmouth Cobras #1). When her father takes ill he puts Silver in charge of the Dartmouth Cobras hockey team. Silver, unlike her sister Oriana, knows nothing about hockey. Silver is going to need a lot of help. That help comes in the form of two deliciously dominant men, Dean Richter the Cobra’s GM and the Cobra’s new goalie Landon Bower. These men have issues of their own but they may find that each has something to offer that may make life just a little bit better.
As I said earlier this book, like the first one, will push boundaries and that isn’t a bad thing. I’ll admit that I skipped over a scene which pushed a hot button for me but it didn’t keep me from really enjoying this book. Bottom line this is a scorching hot book filled with a good story, smoking hot atheletes, and a whole lot of sex.

Absolutely will put you on edge with how bratty Silver can be! Dean, the teams GM, steps up to take her in hand, and as a well defined Master knows, figures out she needs just a bit more. What Silver doesn't know is that the thing she needs most is the friendship of Landon, the new player on the team. A bit of intrigue in the plot keeps you wondering what's going to happen next. And all the hot teammates and a couple new ones make their appearances.

4.75 Stars (Should probably be 4 due to typos but I'm sticking to my 5)

I forgot how much I enjoyed book #1 in this series until I started reading this one.
I'm not into sports, but these books are so well written you feel connected to the sport and all the characters in the stories. You aren't bogged down with complicated details, but just enough to bring you into a different world and make you feel like your involved in that world.
The main characters is this story, Dean, Silver and Landon are magnificently expressed! Their world of hockey and erotica exceptionally entwined to make a delicious and truly sensually satisfying read.

Book #3 is Breakaway and on my 'Must Have' list.

Entertaining and highly enjoyable - I love her ability to make these stories about more than hot sex. I am looking forward to the 3rd book in the series.

Defensive Zone is the second book in the Dartmouth Cobra series and although this book could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend that this book series be read in order as this book picks up where Game Misconduct left off...just from another's POV.

This rotic story will leave you panting for more as the story unfolds. Once you're done with this book, you'll never think of hockey players in the same way again.

Silver has just been made the owner of the Dartmouth Cobra hockey team, Dean is the team's General Manager, and Landon is the new starting Goalie. Silver is instantly attracted to Deans dominance though she doesn't want to admit it, and Landon quickly becomes one of her only friends. When sparks begin to fly between Silver and the men, who will she choose. There are several twists to this story that arise toward the end, these will leave you feeling a bit blindsided but will have you craving for more from the next book in the series.

While I thoroughly enjoyed the book, just as I did with Game Misconduct, I was quite surprised at how mellow this book started out as compared to the previous book. I was really expecting the blood roaring threesome to begin much sooner than it did. With that being said, even the sexual encounters with just Silver and one man made you crave a cold shower. And once the erotic threesome relationship begins, you won't be able to set this book down.

While this book wasn't quite as kinky as Game Misconduct was, it didn't disappoint. This story contains threesome action, BDSM, anal play, breath play, and a bit of electricity play.

*I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion*

I have a serious soft spot for hockey romance stories. I mean, if I could point to one really specific genre to say that does it for me, it'd totally be hockey romances. I'm not big on sports romances in general and can be really picky when choosing a subject like that but plunk a story about hockey players in front of me and I'm game.

That is one of the reasons why I've found I really like reading Bianca Sommerland's Dartmouth Cobras series. I was a little worried about how deep into the BDSm lifestyle the first one got because it was leaning a bit towards going beyond my comfort zone but it was Sommerland writing about the game that really kept me going. I'll say up front that I don't know all the rules about hockey but when Sommerland adds details from the games and the sport in general, I really feel that she has made it a integral part of the story rather than just something thrown in because she wanted to write about a hockey player. I feel that she not only takes her story seriously this way but also her reader. I may not always understand it completely but I appreciate that she respects her readers enough to say, this isn't above you and it is important to the story.

Now on to the actual story. After reading the ending of the first book in the series, I knew I would have some trouble adjusting to Silver but it was totally worth it. There were many more layers to her than met the eye. I think Dean and Landon were perfect counterparts to her and I really enjoyed the story. Landon just got to me, especially when he was so determined to just be Silver's friend because that was what she needed the most.

I did have some issues when it felt like certain parts of the story were randomly thrown in just because. Some of them didn't flow with the storyline and didn't always seem to keep with the character. I will also say that near the last half of the book the character development also didn't seem very consistent. I think another edit of the book would have done wonders to make it more consistent. But that's just more from the technical aspect of it I guess. Oh, and it could have done with a re-edit to correct misspelling or mis-used words, though I will admit, I'm a major stickler for this and it didn't bother me that much this time because I was enjoying this story so much.

Overall I loved the story and the characters. When I reached the end of the epilogue, the first thing I thought was I didn't want this story to end. I had the third book lined up next but I found it hard to pry myself away from Silver, Landon, and Dean even if I could still remain in their world. I think this is a mark of a really good book.

Wasn't expecting to like this one so much. I actually didn't mind Silver in Game Misconduct, and so at the start of this one I got a little annoyed.

I actually want to have Mr. Delgado killed though, what an asshole. Even after a DNA test proved it, he wouldn't accept Orianna? That's ice cold even before you factor in the way he treated Silver.
