When I finally decided to retry this series after YEARS of first reading the first two books, I decided on audiobook because I knew I wasn’t in the mood to physically read them. And let me tell you, I’m glad I decided on the audiobooks. I read the first one back in December and finally this month decided to read the next book and let me tell you. I was amazed at how much I really enjoyed this one. The first book I liked but I didn’t remember being sucked into the story like this one at all with that one!
I was gripped and was always listening when I was in the car driving back and forth to work. I can’t believe this one got to me! I truly just kept wanting to listen to it!
Do I love everything about them? No. Do I love the characters and the incestiness of Clary and Jace? No but I’m guessing this is going to go somewhere after what happened with it.
I liked where the story went. I couldn’t remember anything from when I read it the first time years ago! It was a time! I’m actually excited to more quickly borrow the next book from the library!

The second book in this series did not disappoint me. I loved the characters, and I loved the twists! The one about Simon was great even though I wasn't really thrilled with the idea. Although I'm not too sure what to think about what happened in the end. I'm glad Jace didn't go with his father and I hated the Inquisitor, even though she had a good reason. I still thought that her plan was going way overboard. I was confused about what happen's to Simon's condition in the end and how he can walk in the sunlight even though he's a vampire. That didn't make a lot of sense to me, especially because it wasn't really explained. I was happy in the end about the choice that Jace and Clary made because it's the right choice although a small part of me was sad. Anyways, its a good book and I can't wait to read the next one!
A great book 2 and yhe ending will want to picking up book 3 asap
