I wasn't expecting to like this book. I've read enough bully romances to know that it's not for me, but I think that because this is a fantasy it was easier for me to interpret it has a true enemies to lovers instead of a bully romance which in turn made it easier for me to overlook some stuff, at least until the last couple chapters.
This book gave me vibes of both Harry Potter and Winx, but make it a CW teen drama (even though, obviously, this book is not for teens) and I really enjoyed it. Was this cringe? I mean the word faebook showed up a lot, so obviously it was cringy at times. But it was also so much fun and I was entertained throughout the whole book.
I really loved the twins, and I was expecting to love one twin and find the other annoying and that it would be a drag reading their chapters, but honestly I really loved both of them (even if I like Darcy a little bit more) and loved the dual POV,but I was a little bitter that we didn't get Darcy's POV the first time that Orion bites her .
I also loved Orion. He was an awful teacher but I don't care I love himand I was really happy that, in the end, he somewhat sided with the twins. And, even though I usually don't like student x teacher romances, I'm really excited to see where his story with Darcy goes next.
With the Heirs I hated them at first, but then, like the twins, I started to let my guard down and thought that they weren't so bad. Especially SethI really thought that he was starting to feel something towards Darcy and I was feeling bad for him because I knew eventually Darcy would have to break his heart. But then they went and did what they did to them in the end! And the fact that Kyle and the other girl were in on it just adds more to the betrayal!!! I really hope that the twins get their revenges on everyone who wronged them, including the Heirs, in the next book!
Overall I'm really invested and can't wait to continue with this series, especially because I heard that the writing and books gets better as it goes.

I really enjoyed this book. I love the world building, the characters all make sense and even the ones that only appear briefly feel like they belong in the story.
I love that the twins are such separate characters and that we have to be reminded that their twins. They could have been written as basically two of the same character so I really appreciate that they aren't.
I enjoy the intrigue, the mysteries, and the twists. The plot is quickly placed and that the world building doesn't detract from it but adds to it.
The Heirs. I love to hate them. I feel like all the sexual tension and touching slightly detracts from the enemies to lovers trope that's being built here. But not horribly, and it in no way detracts from my enjoyment of the story. I feel like we could know them better but I'm sure that will come as the series continues.
I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next. The twins just keep getting more and more sh!t piled on and the odds keep getting stacked even higher against them.

Cute intro to a series, that feels as though it sets up A LOT of future plot while still maintaining a strong main story.
Although i dont currently fond the two main character extremely deep and complicated, the big cast of character definitely is and the sode characters are almost more fleshed out.

Cringe Fest.
The writing is terrible and there's too much going on with the worldbuilding which leaves little room for a plot.
The characters are flat and painfully immature. I also just couldn't keep the twins apart.
