Feels like reading a 3 hour unhhhh special instead of watching it. Quick and entertaining read.

A simple and straightforward guide to functioning “womanhood” that made me laugh along the way to genuinely enjoying this little check-in of “hey, are you being a human person? Great!”

Roses are red, violets are twisted, bend over sweetheart, you're about to get fisted.
Trixie and Katya dish out advice for the modern woman, from brushing your teeth to hooking up.

Safe to say, this book was underwhelming. While it is advertised as an 'advice' book, I thought the title might have been a quirky cover-up for a book that pertains largely to Trixie and Katya's lives. Alas, it really IS an advice book, even if the advice is as dry and uninteresting as recounting types of alcohol you can drink. Now we know not even Trixie can make that funny. Mostly, both Trixie and Katya only scratch the surface of their personal lives and anecdotes, which while understandable (they are both quite private people), the moment where they did were by far the best ones. Everything else seemed slightly insincere and pointless.
What I enjoyed most were the chapters in which the two went into dialogue with eachother. I listened to this book on Audible, so what I lost from not being able to appreciate the photographs in the physical copy, I made up with the two friends talking to eachother. These parts felt like a more subdued UNHhhh, but they were edited/clipped at weird parts.

To Trixie & Katya fans, this might be enough (it was a fun 3 hours for me!), and it will certainly do well on your coffee table for your friends to leaf through. Be aware, though, that this is not a book that provides a lot of insights into the two Queens lives. Pro for the audiobook was hearing the friends actually talk (only reading the dialogue might be a tad boring) but you will for sure miss out on the pictures (and hearing Trixie list off stuff with lukewarm jokes stringed together is a different kind of boring). But hey, more Trixie and Katya!

I’m a huge fan of theirs and decided to give this a read to laugh a little. I think for me the best part were the photographs of them in the book. If you listen to their podcast, that’s basically what the book is. Them bantering off one another, it’s a quick read and a nice little break from some more intense and in depth books I’m reading at the moment.

I love them and I loved this book

3.5 - 4 stars.

I loved this. It was short and sweet but seriously funny. There were more serious parts though which was a different side to Trixie and Katya than what is the norm. There really isn't anything else I can think of saying.

Read this on holiday, there were a few laugh out loud moments and plenty of classic Trixie and Katya moments.
